Reasons for the ticket prices
• Easter Island / Rapa Nui is the Eighth Wonder of the World, most remote inhabited island, and one of the most expensive tourist locations on earth. It has limited accommodation facilities, and everything is completely reserved for the dates of the eclipse.
• The festival ticket includes free camping from the 1st to the 15th of July 2010. The highest demand dates for the eclipse.
• Other commercial tour companies offering tours to the island during the eclipse time have an average price of USD $8,000 per person. None of these tours include the Honu Eclipse experience, a limited capacity exclusive event in a privileged position with the participation of all the top artists.
• In conclusion, considering the remoteness of the island, free camping during the eclipse period, the ecological aspect and spiritual artistic experience. Consider the ticket price to be very modest !!
